Job Description:
Responsible for promoting and selling merchandise directly to the consumer/customer and going out for business to promote the merchandise in stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets
- Establish customer needs
- Interacting with customers on a daily basis
- Describes products features and benefits to clients
- Product knowledge
- Attending to and resolving customer queries
- Stock control and inventory of goods
- Dealing with complaints, exchanges, returns and credits
- Must be target driven at all times
- Perform business activities and transaction ethically and morally
- Focus on customer satisfaction and communicate with customers on time
- Assisting with stock taking if and when required
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience in a same or similar role

Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Must have a proven track record in retail / sales experience (preferably in furniture / appliances)
- Ability to sell extended warranty on products (added advantage)
- Must be able to handle objections in a respectful manner
- Must be able to upsell products
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with difficult customers
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Must be PC literate
- Good command of the English language – must be able to communicate with enthusiasm and drive
- Exceed customer expectations by meeting their needs
