Job Title: Videographer – KZN
Location: Durban Head Office
Job Purpose
Hirsch’s is looking for two creative and self-driven Videographer to capture, edit, and produce engaging video content for events, products, and social media platforms. The videographer will be responsible for creating innovative visual content, including AI-enhanced animations, while managing their own equipment and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Videography & Content Capture
- Film events, in-store promotions, customer activations, and community initiatives.
- Capture product and lifestyle content for social media, website, and advertising.
- Produce both short-form and long-form video content tailored to platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Editing & post-production
- Edit raw footage into high-quality final videos.
- Add motion graphics, sound design, and AI-generated elements to enhance storytelling.
- Create promotional and campaign-driven video assets.
- Creative Development
- Work with the marketing team to develop concepts and storyboards.
- Introduce fresh, creative ideas to keep Hirsch’s content modern and engaging.
- Stay updated with digital trends, especially AI tools and animations.
- Independence & Equipment
- Manage and maintain own videography equipment (cameras/cellphone, lights, sound gear, etc.).
- Handle on-site shoots independently, ensuring professional quality output.
- Organize and archive video material for future use.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a videographer and video editor.
- Strong portfolio of event, product, and social media content.
- Proficiency in editing software
- Familiarity with AI animation/motion design tools.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Own videography equipment / high quality cellphone camera will suffice
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport to get to events/stores
